Senior Member E39 Posted May 27, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted May 27, 2020 I used Rogaine and Kirkland foam for a couple years with good results. No irritation. No side effects. I’m always looking for an edge so I tried lipogaine a few years back. Same thing good results. Then I tried perfect hair. It irritated my scalp and gave me a rash. I stopped using it for a while then tried the rogaine/Kirkland foam and it irritated and gave me a rash as well. I haven’t used minoxidil in quite a while and am going to try Rogaine foam one more time. Has anyone else experienced anything similar ?
Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted May 28, 2020 Administrators Share Posted May 28, 2020 Sometimes I get a minor irritation, I stopped using perfect hair, although it worked really well. The foam doesn't have PG in it, so you should be good with the foam. 1 I’m a paid admin for Hair Transplant Network. I do not receive any compensation from any clinic. Senior Member E39 Posted June 18, 2020 Author Senior Member Share Posted June 18, 2020 Ok guys I started using the Kirkland foam. I experienced irritation quite quickly. I read about using head and shoulders or selsun blue to deal with minoxidil related irritation. I’m happy to say that the shampoo helped, and I’m now able to use minoxidil without the itching and or rash.
