Dr. Nakatsui 1526 Grafts FUT 1 year post-op *need advice*

Recommended Posts

It's been 1 year since my hair transplant with Dr. Nakatsui (member of this forum) He claims to do 'dense-pack' procedures with natural results. Before I got the procedure done, after researching lots and seeing all the before/after pics he's posted on this website, I was very impressed with the dense and natural result shown. He's also won the consumer's choice award in Canada for number 1 hair transplant clinic.

As you can see in the picture, the results are thin and sparse, with a lot to be desired. I'm still not able to wear my hair in the style I want, because there's not enough density. It's been frustrating after waiting for so long. I was expecting much more.

I've since contacted two other clinics who both said I'd need about 1200 grafts just to fill in the existing hair transplant. I couldn't believe that. My original procedure was supposed to only be 1200 grafts, but the total yield ended up being 1526. How is this possible, I wonder?

This is my first post here. Please feel free to give me advice.  I'm trying to decide what the best option is. I want to get the area filled in properly.

Looks pretty good to me, can you share what your hair looked like before?
