Regular Member bigtyivier2k2 Posted February 20, 2020 Regular Member Share Posted February 20, 2020 What questions should we ask at a consultation? Also is every surgeon able to do a test (forgot the name) to determine the quality of a donor area?
Senior Member Future Hair Doc Posted February 20, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted February 20, 2020 Here is a website that lists some of the questions to ask during a consultation: https://fellermedical.com/howtopickhairtransplantclinic/ My advice does not constitute a patient-physician relationship nor as medical advice and all medical questions/concerns should be addressed to your medical provider. Dr. Glenn Charles
It is really not fair for the doctor to guarantee hair growth because there are so many things that could happen once the patient leaves the clinic that could effect the results. I do think that if there is an area that does not come in as well as the other areas then the doctor correcting that is the right thing to do. Some important questions to ask are: 1) How long has the doctor been performing HT surgery 2) How long has the clinic been open 3) How many cases has the doctor performed ( FUT and FUE) 4) How many patients/ surgeries per day are performed 5) How long have the surgical technicians worked with the doctor? 6) Ask to see before and after photos of both recipient and donor areas 7) Research on line and see what previous patients are saying about the doctor and clinic 1 Dr. Glenn Charles is a member of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians
