Senior Member MikeTheDane Posted July 5, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted July 5, 2009 Hard to say, you seem to have coarse hair so maybe a qualified surgeon can give you a good result with 3-4k grafts. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 11/04-07 - 800-1600 ish grafts - danish clinic - poor results 12/02-08 - 2764 grafts - Dr. Devroye - good result but needs hairline density 03/12-10 - 1429 grafts - Dr. Mohmand - result pending Feel free to visit my picture thread My Hair Transplant Photos - Surgery with Dr. Devroye Young lads below 25 unite! Senior Member thanatopsis_awry Posted July 5, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted July 5, 2009 Bllo, you're crazy, man. I haven't seen someone stutter-step around getting a HT like this since the days of NG2GB. Theoretically speaking, I think you should get a "max session", and shoot for 4k+, tho. ----------- *A Follicles Dying Wish To Clinics* 1 top-down, 1 portrait, 1 side-shot, 1 hairline....4 photos. No flash. Follicles have asked for centuries, in ten languages, as many times so as to confuse a mathematician. Enough is enough! Give me documentation or give me death! Senior Member aaron1234 Posted July 6, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted July 6, 2009 Well, I'm no veteran here but it seems that many of them suggest that a frontal 2/3 would be best for a first surgery for someone your age. You're young and your crown could get larger, so it would be best to frame your face and have some density in the front (something I could use myself right now). But you have thinning over most the top of your head, so look at surgeons who specialize in larger sessions. Senior Member Forrest Gump Posted July 6, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted July 6, 2009 My guess would be around 3500-4000 grafts... however it depends on your goals and desires. The best option would be to consult with a qualified doctor and seek expert opinion. Good luck!
