While some of my transplanted hairs kept on growing, most of them shed around week 3-4. However, I started applying minoxidil on my head after week 2 as prescribed by the doctor for maximum results. Whenever I apply topical minoxidil on the recipient area around the hairline,even at week 5, I can notice small hairs (1-2mm) in length sticking to my fingers, obviously falling off my scalp. Am I massaging the minoxidil on my recipient area too hard (dont think this should be an issue at week 5) or is it still some shedding thats occuring thats normal?
