Finasteride tablets dose/frequency

Hi, I had my fue on the 15th December and have just received my finasteride 5 mg tablets on the boxes it says take half a tablet Monday Wednesday Friday. 
what are your thoughts please.

Not necessary, although it is logical that 7.5mg per week is nearly equal to Propecia 1mg per day x 7.

I would suggest 1/4 MWF, since some people have had good results taking less than half that over a week , e.g. 1/4 of a 1mg Propecia pill daily:

 

You could try splitting in the pills down further but you never know if the active ingredient is evenly distributed in the pieces, so not worth the bother unless intending to take it every day.

I tend to do Weds Fri Sun, 1/4 Proscar.
