Regular Member jg23 Posted November 20, 2018 Regular Member Share Posted November 20, 2018 I'm 4 months post op and I'm an avid hockey player. Haven't played due to the HT and wondering if it would be okay for me to put on a helmet now? I usually play once a week for about an hour with a helmet on. Senior Member pkipling Posted November 23, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted November 23, 2018 Was this FUE or FUT? Either way, at 4 months, it's my understanding that you can perform any of your regular activities. The grafts are definitely secure at this point. However, given this is an intense contact sport, it wouldn't be a bad idea to run it by your surgeon just in case. I am a patient advocate for Dr. Parsa Mohebi in Los Angeles, CA. My views/opinions are my own and don't necessarily reflect the opinions of Dr. Mohebi and his staff. Check out my hair loss website for photos FUE surgery by Dr. Mohebi on 7/31/14 2,001 grafts - Ones: 607; Twos: 925; Threes: 413; Fours:

LonelyGraft
My post op instructions said helmets like a motorcycle helmet etc could be used one month after surgery. I’d agree with pkipling however and run it by ur doctor first
