Senior Member HarryHonolulu Posted September 3, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted September 3, 2018 Hey all i had my FUE on Monday so I am coming up to 1 week post op. Everything went extremely well and I am so glad with my choice of surgeon and clinic (Chicago hair institute) How soon after your procedure did you resume exercising? I’m thinking of doing elliptical cardio 1x day this coming week and then resuming strength training next week (so 2 weeks post surgery) just curious to hear what your exercise routines were like after surgery ! Senior Member HarryHonolulu Posted September 3, 2018 Author Senior Member Share Posted September 3, 2018 (edited) thx spex! so I'll hit the elliptical this week (which will be 7 days post FUE op) and then graduate to strength/HIIT next week (14 days post-op)... does that sound responsible? Senior Member newpatient99 Posted September 4, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted September 4, 2018 1 week should be fine for light exercise, 2 weeks you can resume heavy exercise. Just to be safe, I'd avoid swimming for at least a month.
Senior Member gillenator Posted September 4, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted September 4, 2018 Your grafts should be anchored well enough by then....
