agoodsamurai
I have an autoimmune skin condition, which is a contraindication for Minoxidil. Is it strictly prohibited or I can try? Will it considerably worsen my skin? I'd be glad to hear someone with experience of Minoxidil use, who also has skin conditions of some sort. Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted August 8, 2018 Administrators Share Posted August 8, 2018 Hi agoodsamurai, Welcome to the forum, what is the specific condition? I know many patients suffering from Alopecia Areata an autoimmune condition use minoxidil with good success. However, you should always consult with a medical professional before applying any topical treatment. This is especially true if you have a skin condition.
