Skin condition as contraindication for Minoxidil

I have an autoimmune skin condition, which is a contraindication for Minoxidil.
Is it strictly prohibited or I can try? Will it considerably worsen my skin?

I'd be glad to hear someone with experience of Minoxidil use, who also has skin conditions of some sort.

Hi agoodsamurai,

Welcome to the forum, what is the specific condition? I know many patients suffering from Alopecia Areata an autoimmune condition use minoxidil with good success. However, you should always consult with a medical professional before applying any topical treatment. This is especially true if you have a skin condition.

Warm regards- Melvin
