Regular Member kimura50 Posted May 30, 2018 Regular Member Share Posted May 30, 2018 I'm almost 4 months post HT. the way my hair sits it looks much better sitting up with a bit of hairspray or wax to hold it, but I'm not sure if doing this 5 days a week for work is doing any damage at all to the implanted grafts? My grafts are on the frontal third so I cover it with my hand when I'm applying hairspray to conceal it. I generally will wash it out every night and shampoo about 3 times a week. I asked my doctor in general if styling products are ok and he said yes, though I wasn't specific about the frequency so I have emailed him awaiting a response. Regular Member justgotfue Posted May 31, 2018 Regular Member Share Posted May 31, 2018 from what I've read, it's a myth that products damage your hair. Feel free to post your doctor's response though, it would be interesting to read!
