With my first transplant, the doc removed the strip and was never seen again. Are these tech trained enough to achieve a prospective outcome or should I look for a center that has the surgeon implant the grafts? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Senior Member gillenator Posted May 29, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted May 29, 2018 Welcome to this community! A large percent of the clinics have trained techs that do the graft placements. The best ones are worth their weight hands down. The surgeon usually will come in the OR and inspect the work that the techs have done and at times will adjust some of the placed grafts in case they need adjustments for angulation, etc. Gillenator Independent Patient Advocate I am not a physician and not employed by any doctor/clinic.
