Regular Member Blond Posted July 12, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted July 12, 2009 Hi, I was just wondering, to save money, can you dilute 2% to 1% i.e. 100ml of 2% would make 200ml 1%!? I guess in theory it makes perfect sense but does anyone have experience doing this and if so what do you use to dilute it? Could you just use normal shampoo to dilute? Many thanks in advance, Blondie Blond. ----------------------------- PhD (Experimental and Clinical medicine) 1.25mg Finasteride Minoxidil 5% (EOD) Nizoral 1% (x3/week)

Senior Member JohnS Posted July 19, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted July 19, 2009 I doubt you would encounter a problem. It is unlikely the ingredients would react with a normal shampoo. I would just stick with a "plain jane" shampoo and skip anything medicated though.
Regular Member Hairy Godmother Posted July 23, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted July 23, 2009 Blondie: I would contact a pharmacist for suggestions. Good luck!
