Hi I'm 20 this year, and am noticing signs of hair loss. ive noticed within the past year my hair has been dropping more rapidly than ever. However my family males on both sides don't seem to show any sign of hair loss up until their 80s.

Gonna upload some pics.

Thanks in advance for your help!!! My hair is all that I have left that makes me mildly attractive.

A man's hairline can creep upwards a bit into what Djlazerblue refers to above - a mature hairline. But there's really no way to tell if it will progress any further. You have to just keep an eye on it and see what happens. Unfortunately, there is no way that anyone can give you a more certain answer as hairloss is very unpredictable.

I can say that your hair still looks to be in good shape and I don't see any immediate need to worry. You will still have all of the same styling options open to you.

It's possible… Honestly, if you are experiencing hair loss it is nominal but you are only 20 years old. Yes, a hairline can mature by migrating backwards somewhat however, at 20, if you are starting to suspect you are experiencing hair loss, it's very possible you are. That said, you can consult a dermatologist or a hair restoration specialist who can look at your hair under magnification to look for signs of miniaturization. If I were you, that's what I would do. And if UR, I would consider nonsurgical her last treatment like yes, a hairline can mature by migrating backwards somewhat however, at 20, if you are starting to suspect you are experiencing hair loss, it's very possible you are. And if we're you, I would consider non-surgical hair loss treatments like Propecia Propecia and Rogaine ASAP to attempt to preserve what you have.

Best wishes,
