Abcd12341603
Well I've never had the smallest forehead and acctually where the furthest forward part in the middle is, is pretty much where it's always been, I recieded at the sides in my early 20s and it stopped where it is now in my late 20s I'm now 35 and have seen no more loss for several years, this is pretty much my dads hairline too I figured if that's it, then it might be worth getting the front done ? What do you all think from your experience ? Is it too far gone or could it be done ? The top and back of my hair hasn't thinned out at all and is still really thick, it's just where it's gone it's gone, well it's sort of peach fuzz now
Senior Member Swooping Posted September 5, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted September 5, 2017 Considering your age, yes it can definitely be done in my opinion. Do you have a better top view? Also, are you on finasteride? Proud to be a representative of world elite hair transplant surgeon Dr. Bisanga - BHR Clinic. Abcd12341603
I have quite fine hair so in this light it looks a bit thin, but it's always been like that all my family older and younger have the same sort of hair
Senior Member Swooping Posted September 5, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted September 5, 2017 Well, using finasteride is always better than not using finasteride, but considering your age and status I don't believe it's a necessity. I would say you could def get your front done and I think you are looking at around 2500 grafts. Proud to be a representative of world elite hair transplant surgeon Dr. Bisanga - BHR Clinic. Pete-from-Farjo
I agree with Swooping in that 2500-3000 grafts would be sufficient to restore a conservative hairline and temples. As for the crown, I'd suggest just keeping an eye on it, and if it does start to thin then consider finasteride at that point.
