Regular Member Ritchie9 Posted February 9, 2017 Regular Member Share Posted February 9, 2017 I'm now 8 months post op for a fue hair transplant, I have been using johnsons baby shampoo since my surgery but now want to change to a proper shampoo, I have used nizoral a few times as I've had a little build up of dandruff but I'd rather not over use nizoral so is there any recommendations for a adult shampoo which is ok to use daily that will help reduce the dandruff? Any help would be greatly appreciated. ?
Senior Member hsrp10 Posted February 9, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted February 9, 2017 La Roche-Possay's Kerium brand makes for a gentler dandruff shampoo than Nizoral, bit expensive but I have liked their Kerium Ds Intensive Anti-Dandruff Shampoo for example. Their dandruff/SD fighting ingredient is piroctone olamine plus salicylic acid and a non irritating form of it called Capryloyl salicylic acid. *At 8 months post-op you should be Ok but run these ingredients past your HT surgeon just in case.
