Stuboy
Hi. I'm looking for some advice please. I have been for a consultation for fue in a UK clinic and have been quoted ?6200 for 1500 grafts to the front. I understand that going abroad would be cheaper however for many reasons I would prefer to stay in the UK. Could anyone advise if this quote seems reasonable for that number of grafts. Many thanks
Senior Member DavidAnderson Posted January 4, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted January 4, 2017 Price seems reasonable if quoted in grafts and not just hairs. I would recommend seeing a few clinics in person for a consultation and getting a better feel for the clinic and also what your donor area is like, future loss pattern etc. All the best. Regular Member baldbeard Posted January 15, 2017 Regular Member Share Posted January 15, 2017 Why would you stay in the uk when you could get double the number of grafts for nearly half that price , the uk dosn't necessarily offer the best treatment or surgeon ? personally I think the Uk as usual is overpriced and the standards are for sure no better than the good places abroad. Shop around and get the best bang for your buck in Europe bb
Regular Member Silver669 Posted January 16, 2017 Regular Member Share Posted January 16, 2017 I was quoted 8000 for 1800 grafts in London. Despite a few nerves I ended up going to India and paid 2700 pounds for 1200 grafts and that included flights, hotels...everything. Also included a one years worth of meds. I totally understand wanting to stay in the UK but I agree with baldbeard, you can get professional work done for a fraction of the price in other countries.
