Thanks Great documentation and a fantastic outcome for this patient Hi wibbles180, Hi bitethebullet, Many thanks for your appreciation! The surgery was performed in one single session, 2 consecutive operation days. Please find below some pic of the donor, pre-op & just after the surgery: We can't retrieve any pic of the donor in the post-op, however we will post soon a video in which you can better perceive the status of the donor. Also, please note that the result pics were taken "just" at the 7th post-op month, so we're looking forward to updating this thread with more details of the real final outcome! Senior Member wibbles180 Posted October 20, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted October 20, 2016 (edited) Hi thanks for your reply , again the work is outstanding! Did the patient have to travel to visit the clinic for a follow up at 7 months ?what was his hair caliber? Is he planning on adding any grafts to his vertex in the future ?also were you able to count your percentage regrowth rate at the 7 month stage ? Sorry for all the questions but I think this is a very similar case to myself so I am intrigued Thanks Edited October 20, 2016 by wibbles180

Sorry for all the questions but I think this is a very similar case to myself so I am intrigued Thanks Hi again, You're welcome! Yes, since the patient lives in Lyon, France, he came to visit us in our Medikemos Clinic in Brussels. Unluckily we didn't have the opportunity at that time to check the regrowth percentage. His hair caliber was assessed as 65 micron - good diameter - and for the moment he's not planning any other procedure. Regards, Dr Lupanzula E. Senior Member wibbles180 Posted October 22, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted October 22, 2016 Extremely prestine work. Great result. Hi Mickey , so dr lupanzula gets your seal of approval ? I seriously put his work right up there at the top I've always always thought I would go to dr Lorenzo for my first procedure but I think I'll be booking a trip to Brussels next year ! As I know you are a huge Lorenzo fan would you put dr lupanzula up there alongside him ?
Senior Member KO Posted October 22, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted October 22, 2016 ^IMO Lorenzo is great at covering large areas and crown work, but I think Lupanzula's frontal work is more aesthetic. Also Lupanzula is far more involved in the surgery than Lorenzo. The main plus point about Lorenzo is that he has such a ton of videos out there about his work along with many patient posted results, you can have a good deal of confidence. Lupanzula is newer, although he has quite a big following in Spanish forums. 3382 FUE Lupanzula http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/185463-3382-grafts-lupanzula.html
Senior Member wibbles180 Posted October 22, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted October 22, 2016 Hey KO ,thanks for your input regards Lorenzo , lupanzula .... I would rather not ever do the blah blah vs blah blah vs blah blah as I only seek to educate myself and any others reading on picking a quality surgeon rather than jumping in with some of these cheap well marketed companies . My personal top 3 are : 1-lupanzula 2-Lorenzo 3-erdogan Now from what I know the only surgeon in that list that actually is hands on from start to finish is dr lupanzula in the fact that he personally extracts every graft , makes every inscision and then oversees the placement of grafts where he entrusts his techs to place the grafts and then he is able to see and tweak every graft as you are the only patient of the day !!! This is a dying art that both of the other doctors on my list used to practice but have now stopped in preference of 3 or 4 patients per day and oversee the surgeries rather than hands on . For this reason after years of thinking I would only ever go to dr Lorenzo I am hoping to get to see dr lupanzula for a consultation asap , if any other U.K. Guys are thinking of getting a consultation let me know as if really like to get a consultation in the northwest (Manchester/Leeds) ! Either way I think all 3 surgeons I have mentioned are all top class but if your wanting purely 1 on 1 surgery then lupanzula is your man:) Note to all newbies or lads in look of a quick fix , these Turkish 1 euro per graft clinics are not what they seem and could do you much more damage than good ! That's my first full on waffle/rant hope I'm not turning into a hrnahollic !
Senior Member KO Posted October 23, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted October 23, 2016 I would just fly there to see him, it's not a long flight and will be well worth your time. I may be going to him for surgery myself. 3382 FUE Lupanzula http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/185463-3382-grafts-lupanzula.html
