Batfink
Hi everyone. I'm a long time lurker on these forums and I've finally decided to take the plunge and get a transplant done with Dr Hasson in Vancouver. I'm based in the UK, and cost is an issue, so I'm looking for recommendations for reasonably priced flights - ideally direct from anywhere in the UK to Vancouver. I'm also looking for recommendations for cheap accommodation. I know Hasson & Wong provide two nights at the Sheraton but I may need to stay longer. Any other travel tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Senior Member Drew35 Posted September 14, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted September 14, 2009 I used www.orbitz.com I checked out Orbitz and found a flight from Manchester, UK to Vancouver for $556. You can also include a search for "Flight + Hotel" to find a deal. I know Hasson and Wong give you a Flight Allowance. I would just ask if they can give you a Hotel Allowance and then just stay in the hotel of your choice. - 1st Transplant: 5,485 grafts with Dr Jerry Wong 2nd Transplant: 3,100 grafts with Dr Jerry Wong 3rd Transplant: 5,035 grafts with Dr Sanusi Umar My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Wong
Senior Member voxman Posted September 25, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted September 25, 2017 Be careful - they mainly speak English in Vancouver and have a strange sometimes odd accent - ordering a Pint of Ale may just get you a Quart of Oil. Of course, I guess Scotland is worse. No matter what you order you get Scotch. But I see nothing wrong in that. I'm serious. Just look at my face. My Hair Regimen: Lather, Rinse, Repeat.
