Regular Member DeviousXP Posted October 5, 2016 Regular Member Share Posted October 5, 2016 Hi people, I am 3 weeks post transplant, and I'm seeing clear signs of growth, not just a wee bit but its clearly noticeably longer now, I had almost no scabbing and I'm wondering am I going to be part of the lucky small number of people who don't shed first, or is it usual to see growth then shed? Iv read a few posts about people saying they think their new hair is growing, then the doctors saying its not actual growth, but I have to say, people around me are also convinced its grown more than just an illusion of swelling going down now appearing longer. Your thoughts much appreciated.
Senior Member Transhair Posted October 5, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted October 5, 2016 Could be growth, could also be the hair looking longer as it slides out of the follicle in the shedding process.

Senior Member chris39 Posted October 5, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted October 5, 2016 Ok thanks, so if it is growth, would that mean it's likely to then not shed..? All you can do is wait and see . Give it another 2 to 3 weeks and you'll find out 1 way or the other,
