Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted December 18, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted December 18, 2009 I got 3 email requests this week to show another crown case similar to one I put up in November I prefer front procedures both in terms of having the patient actually see the results in the mirror, as opposed to in pics or by using 2 mirrors; and the fact that at the crown the hair falls in multiple directions rather than only one up front, and therefore the illusion of density is less producable with comparable graft counts. But we do like crown cases and find that equally as much care and design needs to be done to get that nice swirl at the end of the case. Attached is a recent case showing a 30ish year old teacher with a family history of crown loss only, and a desire to obtain thicker coverage. He is also an actor and was planning to shave his entire head to a #2 for an upcoming role in January. If he comes in with that style at his scar check, I'll try to put up pics. Senior Member Blake Bloxham Posted December 18, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted December 18, 2009 Really nice work with the closure Dr Lindsey. That scar looks fantastic post suture removal. The result with be 'pencil thin,' for sure. Should be a very nice result when it's all grown out.
