My take - they get fairly fixed by day 3, quite fixed by day 5/6 as you can wash a tad more and well and truly rooted by days 8 to 10 as Clint says. Thus, I agree with Clint that the grafts are fully secured between the 8th and 10th day. They are pretty well set prior to that, but they could only be surgically removed by the 8th to 10th day.
