Can propecia thicken miniature hair toward front if head?

propecia is the best thing that ever happened to me since I started losing my hair -- it's the only effective thing on the market, in my opinion. It sopped my hairloss cold, and yes, thickened a bit the hair in my hairline, as well as the back. I've been on it for five years.

Propecia can have positive effects on all areas of the scalp. Most of the studies and literature have shown more results in the vertex (top) and crown areas (back) of scalp. Keep in mind that people can respond quite differently to the same medication. Meaning Propecia works better for some people than others. In my practice, I have seen mainly very positive results including slowing down of the progression of the hair loss and some regrowth. I have only seen a few cases where new hair growth occured in the hairline and temporal regions.
