Regular Member the worried man Posted January 20, 2004 Regular Member Share Posted January 20, 2004 If thinning started to happen just behind the hair line near the temporal zone, can propecia thicken that area back up some?

Regular Member Freaky D Posted January 25, 2004 Regular Member Share Posted January 25, 2004 propecia is the best thing that ever happened to me since I started losing my hair -- it's the only effective thing on the market, in my opinion. It sopped my hairloss cold, and yes, thickened a bit the hair in my hairline, as well as the back. I've been on it for five years.
Guest
Propecia can have positive effects on all areas of the scalp. Most of the studies and literature have shown more results in the vertex (top) and crown areas (back) of scalp. Keep in mind that people can respond quite differently to the same medication. Meaning Propecia works better for some people than others. In my practice, I have seen mainly very positive results including slowing down of the progression of the hair loss and some regrowth. I have only seen a few cases where new hair growth occured in the hairline and temporal regions.
