Senior Member esrec Posted April 6, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted April 6, 2016 (edited) Interesting, scary, enlightening. Something for the fin crowd to think about too. That said, I will continue my healthy dosage-of porn ; ) Edited April 7, 2016 by esrec
Senior Member esrec Posted April 7, 2016 Author Senior Member Share Posted April 7, 2016 I wonder how many guys suffering from hair loss, on fin, are also socially withdrawn, and subsequently addicted to or at least over-consume porn and suffer ED. But also, I'm not sure you want socially withdrawn angry sexually frustrated guys walking around all day either. Lol
Senior Member Dolph1969 Posted April 7, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted April 7, 2016 Being in my mid 40s, during our developing years, it was underwear catalogues, our imaginations and "dirty books".
Senior Member esrec Posted April 7, 2016 Author Senior Member Share Posted April 7, 2016 Funny you reference that, if you watched the whole video, you'll see it focuses in on millenials born into this over-stimulated digital world, where we can "click" our way to hot naked women in ways that previous generations could not. In a matter of minutes today's guy can see more naked women than a caveman could in a lifetime. Yet, our brains are still on evolutionary time, and we aren't equipped to deal with the "connected" world we live in. It's literally reshaping our brains. +40 crowd likely in the clear of this phenomena
Regular Member Theodpliske8711 Posted April 7, 2016 Regular Member Share Posted April 7, 2016 It's literally reshaping our brains. +40 crowd likely in the clear of this phenomena The focus is on millennials, but the older generation is not out of the woods either. The human brain is fairly plastic and responsive to changes in stimuli, even as we age. Maybe people whose libidos are now winding down (50+), but it's still possible to be porn addicted in later years and there's no reason to think that there is less of an issue. The problem with young people being exposed too early to porn is also that it exposes them to a particularly theatrical form of sex, and one that can be fairly violent and gender imbalanced. I won't lie, I've even noticed it myself that my expectations of sex were far from the reality. I'm not one who falls in the #nofap crowd, or in the pornnomore crowd, but I think people need to be sensible when it comes to this stuff and try and see past their libido. That said, I think the test for erectile issues for fin is fairly easy to distinguish from this: if you are no longer having nocturnal erections, it's a sign that you are getting sides.
