Senior Member Britanium Posted December 28, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted December 28, 2015 I thought you shouldn't have anything touching the grafts after surgery - I opted for a Trilby style hat as it didn't rest on the donor or the grafted area. Regular Member vinaymieux Posted December 29, 2015 Author Regular Member Share Posted December 29, 2015 Some good tips, but can you wear a beanie just after surgery? According to the doctor, you can wear anything you want after the first 10 days. Or after all your scabs are gone. You can even color your hair if needed from day 15+ Watch my Day 10 video for more details: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7qz6eLt67A -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Watch my HT Journey through my YouTube videos https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJaB5IXaXWZZU9I9ZtkNYHQ/videos

Yes you shouldn't have anything touching your grafts after the surgery. You can wear a soft bandanna after the 4th day if needed. Anything else might pull off the grafts while removing as they are still very fragile in the first 7-10 days. Every clinic or doctor will have their own do's and don'ts. And all are correct. Best to follow what your doctor tells you. I made two videos on do's and don'ts according to my doctor and the literature provided; on Day 3 and Day 7.
