Senior Member Dr. Richard Keller Posted November 6, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted November 6, 2015 35 year old patient who previously had a "shield type" hair restoration procedure with continual hair loss. 2,807 follicular units were available for a second FUT procedure to optimize concentrated areas of restoration. The patient's frontal framework, reinforcement of the sides ('lateral humps and alleys") and crown improvement were completed with the grafts available. Photos shown are pre-op, 6 month post-op and grafts in place. The patient is very pleased with his 6 month procedure, which is allowing him to wear a different hair style. We are looking forward to his 12 month results and will update photos then. Comments are welcome. -Dr. Keller Dr. Keller is recommended on the Hair Transplant Network

Senior Member Spanker Posted November 19, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted November 19, 2015 Very interesting case. Bad luck on the loss pattern. Can you say if this person was on fin and about when his last procedure was? Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted November 19, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted November 19, 2015 Now that is a life-changing result for sure. The progression of hair loss really left him with an unusual appearance. Well done! David - Former Forum Co-Moderator and Editorial Assistant I am not a medical professional.
