Regular Member bigwilly1234 Posted August 14, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted August 14, 2015 does the crown have trouble holding on to transplanted hair versus other parts of the head? That's what my doctor told me anyway
Senior Member gillenator Posted August 14, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted August 14, 2015 A fair number of HT patients seem to experience a slower rate of regrowth in the crown area if that's what your doctor was referring to. Regular Member bigwilly1234 Posted August 15, 2015 Author Regular Member Share Posted August 15, 2015 so the hair on the crown does grow a little slower? He was more mentioning that sometimes the Crown has trouble holding on to the transplanted hair completely altogether. Meaning sometimes the transplanted hair doesn't grow. Have you ever heard of this ? thanks for getting back to me
Senior Member gillenator Posted September 15, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted September 15, 2015 Once in a great while I have heard of a few guys experiencing little to no regrowth in the crown, but mostly slower growth in that area of the scalp. And no one seems to have a plausible answer as to why... Gillenator Independent Patient Advocate I am not a physician and not employed by any doctor/clinic.
