Slow growth related to age?

Age can be a factor for slower growth but in general, the anagen phase is pretty much preprogrammed in to our DNA and there is no reason if you are healthy and fit, the hair would not continue or grow at a reasonable rate.

Take a quick look at the Beauty Shops and the Blue Hairs coming and going every day! - and the Barber shop where us 'old men' pop in ever two weeks (NOT ME THOUGH!!)

I'm serious.  Just look at my face.

The growth rate seems more dependent upon individual's physiology than age, IMO. Another factor may be the clinic's protocol and techniques, such as the type of holding solutions used and how quickly the grafts are planted. Regenerating therapies like ACell to help repair the follicles could also play a part in growth rates.

I know that in general the perceived or actual magical and mystical properties of Acell are always in flux, but IN MY CASE, Acell was used as a holding solution for my grafts after harvest - and my grafts never shed from day one.

Lucky me.

And they are all still vigorously growing on this 65 year old noggin.
