Regular Member deppmode Posted March 16, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted March 16, 2009 Hi Guys. Well I got a prescription from the doc for proscar. I bought a pill splitter and split a pill into quarters. I took my first dose of 1.25mg tonight and after about two hours I felt a bad headache coming on. Is this normal? Maybe 1.25 mg is too much to start on?
Senior Member Jotronic Posted March 16, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted March 16, 2009 I've not really heard of this. Maybe your headache is caused by something else. Ultimately you should speak with your doctor about this and get his take on it. Bill - Seemiller
deppmode, Like Joe, I would bet my money that it's a coincidence. You may just be experiencing a common headache or the onset of a cold. Best wishes, Bill
Senior Member Mr. GQ Posted March 18, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted March 18, 2009 ever since the warm weather front moved in (few days ago), i too am getting mild headaches. it's the changing of weather season (cold to warm), so that could be it. i've been taking 1/4 proscar since may of last year every day and never had a headache because of it. scientists proved that raise of temperature do indeed affect the head and tends to give migraines and headaches to lots of people. i heard it on the radio few days ago!
