Senior Member lucldh Posted March 27, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted March 27, 2015 Is it possible to use your father's donor area? I think that the answer is No, but I still want to confirm. I have got baldness from my maternal side. My father has thick full head of hair. Irony with me is that I am Norwood 6 with retrograde alopecia. Senior Member Hairsearch21 Posted March 27, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted March 27, 2015 Retograd? You mean, your donor is also thinning? If you mean only your neck hairline.. I know so many NW1 with a receding neck hairline^^ So thats just not a real problem only for alopecia sufferers .
Dr. Glenn Charles
The only way a hair transplant has been shown to be successful from one person to another is if they are identical twins. You have to remember that you get half your genes from the father and half from the mother.
