Hi folks. I am new to this forum and I look forward to participating. I am a 68year old female with some thinning on the top and temple area. I has surgery with Dr. Leonard years ago but I feel there should have been more grafts. We live on Cape Cod but will be going back and forth to Florida. After researching on your forum I am going to try Dr. Rose and Nusbaum in Miami. Are they equally good? I will be sending pix to them. I hope the price isn't outrageous! I know you get what you pay for. Thank you all for this wonderful site. I can't really discuss this with friends because some of them would call me vain!

I know Dr. Paul Rose very well and used to work with him. IMHO, he does excellent work and worked with the Shapiro clinic in Minnesota for a number of years as well. Although I don't think he likes the cold winters up there...:P

Dr. Rose is also very ethical and well respected by his colleagues in this field. He has been doing surgical hair restoration for many years.

I can't speak on the Doctors you mentioned personally, but I just want to say that I commend you for taking action in restoring your hair and for coming to participate in the forum. It's a very male-dominated industry, and female hair loss isn't something we see on here very much - so welcome aboard, and we look forward to your updates and your progress!

I am a patient advocate for Dr. Parsa Mohebi in Los Angeles, CA. My views/opinions are my own and don't necessarily reflect the opinions of Dr. Mohebi and his staff.

Thank you Brenton! I've decided to try to get 2 consults in Florida. Dr. Charles, in Boca and Dr. Rose in Miami. I am a bit nervous but I believe in being proactive in life and not resigning myself to something that I can control. Both of these Drs. come highly recommended.
