scotman10
I had a hair transplant in Maral Klinik with Dr Maral and his hair transplant team about 6 months ago. Started loosing my hair around my mid 20s, but was not a big problem until around 50. This was when I became more self conscience. and decided to do some research on hair transplant. I choose FUE operation as I felt there will be less discomfort after the surgery, and I did not want to have a lineer scar over my head. I am 53 years old now. I was born in Scotland and a little too proud to dye my hair, I think that my hair density would look even better had İ done. Having researched many different hair loss sites, Dr. Maral seemed to fit all the criteria which would be cost, how the clinic looked and after having contact with Dr. MaraI had the confidence to go ahead. I had my operation in July and it is about 6 months later now, I took my pictures after the surgery, I want to demostrate my progress after my HT up to now. By the way, I had a face lifting and nose operation (both to correct the shape and breathing difficulties) by Dr. Maral 1 week ago, İ am in the healing process and doing ok.. These are my pre operation pictures taken at the clinic. Dr. maral said that I had NW 5-6 hair loss, and the area needs all the grafts that my donors safely gives. Since my hair loss area contained some original hairs, one session of HT may be enough to cover all area if my donor capacity was good enough, or İ might have needed a 2nd session if donor capacity is weaker or if I had wanted more density. scotman10
The operation took about 8 hours. It was completed in one session in a day. Time went by surprisingly quick as I was able to watch TV during the opereation. Also stopping midway for a customary Turkish meatball-yummy. The team members who did the surgery were so professional and can't believe how quickly they removed and implanted the grafts. I was told they had managed to remove 4200 grafts from my donors, and almost all area was transplanted. Dr. Maral was happy with my donor capacity and also said that, my graft quality was so good and most of my grafts contained 2-4 hairs, and his expectations for the result was more optimistic. These are my pictures taken at the clinic the day after the procedure.

1966kph
Thanks for sharing Scotsman. Like shampoo says it should only get better. Also good luck healing up from the face lift and nose job. How much did Dr maral charge for the face lift? My wife sometimes compares me to a old black Labrador with a grey old muzz and sagging chops. Congrats and speedy healing. Have a nice new year with your new looks.

Senior Member MikroFUE Posted December 28, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted December 28, 2014 impressed. lookn good. nice impressive and aggressive hairline. at least some techs get it. BUSA, Thanks for your criticism. I assume the word aggressive hairline refers to a low (positioned) new hairline. This is not an agressive hairline. In fact it's balanced, well-designed with a natural hairline. Scotman and Dr. Maral designed it preoperatively and they both agreed on the hairline . Scotman is 53 years old (hairloss reached last stage) with the highest quality and capacity of donor area and he posseses the capacity and charactheristics of Class 1 donor hair, (caucasian type) coming from the northern part of the world, which has the potential for any hairline position and design. But lowering the hairline would mean higher graft demand for the hair loss area, and it might require one more session for closure of the top area. And, lower hairline at age 53 would not appear so natural. Balanced hairline, good donor area capacity, grafts quality, existence of original hairs over hair loss area and the technical expertise of Maral Klinik HT team all made it possible to give good coverage in this patient's NW6 hair loss. This is not the case with every patient. I mean, agressive low hairline might not be possible with every patient. Age, hair loss pattern, supply and demands in another words determines the hairline position and shape. Hairline can always be adjusted in the 2nd HT session in patients with grade 6 or 7 hair loss. Hi 1966, He charged 3000 euros for face lifting and 2000 euros for nose job. Operation was done in a hospital under general anesthesia. I am returning home tomorrow and all has gone smoothly up to now. I like the new shape of my nose really, tip was so huge, it looks nice now. Happy new year all. Busa, I WISH YOU seasons greetings and a happy new year. ....it is a pity you give little overall credit to Dr Maral and it looks like you are just out to pick a fight for no good reason. Remember that without Maral hundreds of patients would unlikely be celebrating their great HT in recent years...including myself... Ease up a little and find the light. best wishes BRIT
