Senior Member Paulygon Posted June 5, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted June 5, 2014 itching, dandruff could definitely be related to the sudden hairloss that you are experiencing... If Hrsp21 can chime in here, I think that with his experience with scalp condition and hair loss, he could shed light on your issue (try PM-ing him). how many hairs are you losing? is it noticeable? what is the percentage of the transplanted hairs you are losing? Paulygon is a former patient of Dr. Parsa Mohebi My regimen includes: HT #1 2710 grafts at Parsa Mohebi Hair Restoration in Los Angeles in 2012 Rogaine foam 2x daily, since 2012 (stopped ~10/2015) Finasteride 1.25mg daily, since 2012 (stopped ~12/2015) HT #2 3238 grafts at Parsa Mohebi Hair Restoration in Los Angeles in Jun. 2016 Started Rogaine and Propecia in July. 2016 after being off of them for about a year. Senior Member hsrp10 Posted June 5, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted June 5, 2014 could be the scalp inflammation you are experiencing and or scratching at it consult your surgeon and if possible a dermatologist ASAP to treat it don't use any harsh topicals such as Nizoral or steroids on a frequent basis in the new transplanted area if you need to, use them once or twice until the condition gets better and then less frequently go dense or go home Unbiased advice and opinions based on 25 plus years of researching and actual experience with hair loss, hair restoration via both FUT & FUE, SMP, scalp issues including scalp eczema & seborrheic dermatitis and many others HSRP10's favorite FUT surgeons: *Dr. Konior, *Dr Hasson, Dr. Rahal HSRP10's favorite FUE surgeons: *Dr. Konior, *Dr. Bisanga, Dr. Erdogan, Dr. Couto (*indicates actual experience with doctor)
Regular Member angelina22 Posted June 5, 2014 Regular Member Share Posted June 5, 2014 I think it could be due to the hair transplant which you had done is not suiting your scalp some times such issues just consult your doctor your problem once again.
