Senior Member orangehair Posted May 29, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted May 29, 2014 Just wanted to showcase several FUE procedures that were done over the last few weeks. Heads come in all shapes and sizes. This is not a lunchtime FUE - the procedure usually takes about 6 - 8 hours, is very specialized and labor intensive. We do recommend PRP or PRP/Acell as an adjunct to the procedure but this not always done as it is an additional expense. Liposomal ATP spray is administered post-op and is showing to have a nice effect on the healing of the extractions / receptor sites in that it facilitates the dissipation of the crusting and ignites the cellular metabolism of the follicles. Overall there is very little discomfort with FUE. VP Patient & Media Relations for The Hair Loss Doctors by Robert J. Dorin
