Graft numbers?!

Hello guys, I've recently had 2 personal consultations and both Surgeons have suggest around 1500-1700 to restore the hairline.

I have today had an online consultation with a clinic and they have quoted 2800-3000 which seems very high to me....

Attached are my picture's from last weeks consultation and any graft estimates are very much appreciated.

That central area behind your frontal tuft looks like it may be on its way out. That could explain the additional 1000 grafts, i.e. filling in to compensate for future loss.

4,312 FUT grafts (7,676 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2013

1,145 FUE grafts (3,152 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2018

763 FUE grafts (2,094 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - January 2020

Proscar 1.25mg every 3rd day

Thanks Matt, yeah that could be the reason I suppose. Maybe less grafts would result in a 2nd procedure sooner. The Dr said that he couldn't go too close to the other hairs in case of shock loss.
