What if it is impossible to avoid the sun post surgery?

I live in Perth, Western Australia which is a part of the world that gets more sun than most other places and in Summer regularly gets to 40 degrees Celsius. I have FUE with Dr Feriduni in Dec and return to Oz in January in the middle of summer. While I can avoid spending time in the sun during weekends, commuting to and from work in a suit and a hat is just not viable, in short it will be impossible to avoid the sun. Do I just have to keep spraying SPF on my head for three plus months??

All the best with your surgery later in the year. Yes is the simple answer if you are out in strong sunlight and cannot wear a hat a very high spf is going to be required at all times. You can carry a small spray around with you, it is the down side of living in such a warm climate.

For short treks in the sun when I was not able to wear a hat, I used an umbrella to keep my head protected. I felt a bit conspicuous doing so but since that time, I've seen a number of people using them in the sun.
