Hi, every one.

greetings from Dr.YVRao's centre. i am Dr.YVRao.

I am a plastic surgeon from Hyderabad, INDIA, with 17 yrs of experience. we have a Hair transplant centre. we are a team of two doctors (me and my wife-Dr.saikumari). we joined recently in this forum and trying to post our results,for assessment by the esteemed members.

from 5 yrs, we have been performing,15-20 hair transplants per month.

we take pride in direct consultation with the hair loss sufferer, after initial counseling by the staff. this way, we feel, a better rappaport develops between the doctor and patient.we perform implantation by our selves of crucial areas including Hair line zone. After placing grafts in slits, we place one/ two hair grafts with needles in between slits,repeatedly checking the density of hair. This way we can cover more area with good density and looks natural also.

 

Our philosophy- our head is covered not in rows of one graft or two grafts or three grafts. They are mixed all over the head. so we try to mimic nature.

 

We avoid using lint or gauge piece, for grafts placement, to minimize the fine / microscopic fibres getting entangled with the grafts while implanting. instead we deviced our way- cut glove in to small pieces and place grafts of ten on each piece and place them on the thumb- serving two purposes-

1-avoid cotton fibres

2-grafts do not slip also, in any position because of thin watery film

3-easy counting by staff

So are you just doing strip (FUT) or are you capable of doing FUE also?
