Regular Member Newbie50 Posted March 28, 2014 Author Regular Member Share Posted March 28, 2014 Thnx for the replys. Im barely touching them. When I had my staples out, they told me the grafts look really. I still spray to keep moist. It just looks weird. But I have been really babying them. I was wondering if I just left them and not touched them. Would that have a negative affect on my growth.
Regular Member Newbie50 Posted March 28, 2014 Author Regular Member Share Posted March 28, 2014 (edited) Wow, Cant believe its been 2 weeks so far. I have been happy so far with my HT. I am just have a a little trouble with crust.(Im just gonna gently massage them if they fall out good if not then I just gonna leave it). The Big goal of no grafts falling out before 2 week has been reached. Hopefully the grafts stay as long as they can. I know the shedding process is next. I am liking my daily updates I think I will continue with them. Update: I talked to my Doc. And i took another shower and shampooed all the way to the scalp . Most of the crust are gone Edited March 28, 2014 by Newbie50

Regular Member Newbie50 Posted April 2, 2014 Author Regular Member Share Posted April 2, 2014 I had some shedding today. I could only tell 1 graft from the HT was in the bunch. It had a white dot on it. I was a little worried it was the bulb but no blood so it should be just normal. My wife said it looks like the grafts are growing. I dont know if thats possible? The back was getting really long and curly, and people at work kept asking to see my "long hair". Week 4 started had a couple of shedders today:)

Regular Member Alliswell Posted April 7, 2014 Regular Member Share Posted April 7, 2014 For me the shedding was lasting till week 4. And it is hardly or very few these days. Not sure if got any pimples yet...And some <3-5% of the transplanted hairs started growing write from the HT. It looks like you got some good quantity of the transplanted hairs growing right away.. Just let one more week elapse and see how it goes. And thumbs-up for the back-back pics. They say let not give a damn care on the hair for 3 months. Well..nobody can afford to do that
Regular Member Newbie50 Posted April 7, 2014 Author Regular Member Share Posted April 7, 2014 Hello all, Today I had some soreness at the donor area. It has been really itchy back there. The front have been going really well. Alliswell- I totally agree with you. I saved for a year for this HT. Besides buying a home or a car. This is the most expensive thing I have ever done, and not knowing if it will work, damn right I will stress when I think it's not going well. Thats why I update everyday. So when someone else gets a HT. They can look at my post and compare. Its all about helping:)

Regular Member Newbie50 Posted April 10, 2014 Author Regular Member Share Posted April 10, 2014 I had an overall good day. I used a lint brush to clean off my hat, so I could see how many shedders I got. It was very minimal. I think things are progressing well:)

Regular Member Newbie50 Posted April 12, 2014 Author Regular Member Share Posted April 12, 2014 OK, I started week 5 off with a bang. Before I had the HT, I would run 6 miles a day on my treadmill. I would take some pre- workout drink called Cardio Cuts. Today is the first time I got back at it. I went 4 miles today. I sweat a lot so right after I was done I did a gentle head rub. I would say about 10 hairs shedded out. So I jumped in the shower and used baby shampoo and about 7 more came out. I did 2 rounds of hair wash and after the second round no more shedders. The first 3 pic are from right after the workout. And the next 3 are from after the shower.
