Senior Member ArochaInfo Posted March 7, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted March 7, 2014 This young gentleman in his late 20's was very pleased with his results from Arocha Hair Restoration. He came in with AGA NW 4V wanting to restore his hair in the frontal third area to frame the face and increase the fullness. The after photos were taken 8 months post his artistic hair restoration procedure 3613 FUT. He is planning a second procedure to enhance and increase the coverage. Employed by Dr. Bernard Arocha. Senior Member ArochaInfo Posted March 11, 2014 Author Senior Member Share Posted March 11, 2014 Hi Shiner, I just wanted to post some additional photos to provide some clarity on the results of this patient. The patient was combing his hair to the front to fill in the thin areas his frontal region, however once the hair was combed back you can see how thin his hair actually was before surgery. The after photos highlight the density and volume he was able to obtain with one 3616 FU transplant. Employed by Dr. Bernard Arocha. Senior Member Rootz Posted March 11, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted March 11, 2014 Only able to see the original pictures at the moment, but I agree with Shiner's sentiment. This seems like a relatively small change for 3600 grafts. Based on the before pics I would say he was actually a solid NW3. And in the after pics a NW2. Again not a big change. Also, in my opnion the hairline work is lacking for 3600 grafts. His frontal forelock area looks about the same and while the temple areas were closed off more the new hair seems to have some issues with yield perhaps (mainly looking at 2nd to last pic, right temple area). Just looking at the pics I would have guessed only 1000 grafts were used. Any idea what his approximate yield was? I just realized this was also FUT... how did his scar turn out? Regular Member GoForIt Posted March 12, 2014 Regular Member Share Posted March 12, 2014 I would have to disagree - I think there has been a real improvement. He now looks in his late twenties. I hope he is on meds.
Regular Member Shiner Posted March 12, 2014 Regular Member Share Posted March 12, 2014 I've seen much better results from Arocha. I'm struggling to decide which are the before and which are the after photos. Maybe the before hairstyle skews the picture too much to assess.
