Dr. Glenn Charles Posted February 17, 2014 Share Posted February 17, 2014 Looks like you might have male pattern hair loss which may make you a candidate for hair restoration surgery. Do you have other males in your family with a similar hair loss pattern? Do you feel that your donor area has thinned also or has it maintained its original density? However, if the existing hairs are weak and close to shedding on their own the stress of the surgery might push them over the edge. You need to be ok with the possibility of taking a small step backwards before taking a larger step forward.
