Multiple Procedures

I'm new to this forum and would like to get some feedback, if possible. How many procedures are necessary to achieve consistent density?

That's a very generic question because it total depends on where you are at now. One was good for me but I would say that it is very common to get two done. So, depending on your goals and current level of loss will be very dependent on how many procedures you may choose to opt for.

Thanks for the reply! I have had two procedures. The first procedure I had approx 1500 grafts and the second I had approx 1800 grafts. It just seems that it appears thinner in some areas than others.

Transplants on a nw5 are not going to feel like a full head of hair and may take some styling. I would say that 3300 grafts is on the low side for a nw5.

Your result would also depend other factors including hair color, texture , and caliper. Technique used and the growth success percentage.

if ur a norwood 5 and up you are going to have to max out ur donor area, witch means 3-4 procedures ideally

Remember two patients with the same NW5 hair loss pattern both receiving 3300 follicular unit grafts in the same distribution method can end up with a very different final result.
