Senior Member Maxxy Posted January 13, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted January 13, 2009 When I was trying to find this out before my surgery, most people came up with the following. Good = You can pinch the skin between fingers - Average = You can easily move the scalp (such as when you do the scalp exercises) - Bad = There is no/very little movement of the scalp while doing the exercises. I too was looking for such information. Another important question also, would be, does the laxity vary at different parts of the scalp? take care... Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted January 22, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted January 22, 2009 Scalp exercises do work. Right now I have a 38 year old South American here who had a really tight donor region 3 weeks ago. He says he has been compressing the scalp three times a day, and indeed he was easy to get a standard strip out of today, and close virtually tension free. Dr. Lindsey McLean VA William H.
