Senior Member wb280 Posted October 6, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted October 6, 2013 Hi guys, its been 5 mths since my 2nd time under the knife ( 1st op was a tremendous failure ) Not seeing much growth and frankly quite panicky now Just wondering what could ve gone wrong...Anyway can anyone chip in on the effects of nanogen on growth? Does it impede growth of HT hair? I already tried to minimise but obviously i still goto sport the nanogen look for a good ol' 8 hrs at work... I did some research and asking ard and so far, all have assured me that nanogen does not impede HT growth but it would be good to get more opinions... View my hair loss website. I believe when it comes into contact with the scalp and gets 'caked' onto it, this certainly can impede growth as the scalp can't breath as well. I know as I had the caking effect when I first started using concealer in Jan/Feb of this year. Good point, if the fibres are on the hairs your safe but would have to be pretty special at applying it to guarantee not getting it on the scalp. I would also be concerned about the locking mist/holding spray directly on grafts and effect that would have. I've got my first HT in a couple of weeks & I can promise that the nanogen will be staying in the cupboard for a good few months! Not worth the risk man. You have scientific data or personal experience? I think you are being overcautious. Also to me, it is impossible to use concealer without getting it into contact with scalp. By the way, i m currently in 3 months and have been using nanogen since 2 month mark. I am washing my scalp every night and things look very promising in terms of growth. by the way, sorry for the English, it is not my native language. I am travelling from Australia to Europe and I dont want to get there to find out that they wont let me take the concealers and look like crap on my holyday!!
