Found some Nioxin 2. Anyone have an opinion?

Hi all,

 

I found some Nioxin 2 and my grandpa's that he says he doesn't use. I was just wondering if anyone had any positive or negative opinions on it. I just put it on my hair, and I'm doubting it will really be worth putting on in the mornings to have to wait for it to dry. I think I'll stick with my Rogaine foam, but I just wanted to see if someone else had an opinion.

In my opinion, Nioxin makes an excellent shampoo and conditioner. Howeer, I've seen no compelling evidence that any of the Nioxin products can stop hair loss.

 

In my opinion, don't give up using what's proven to work.

I spent an exorbitant amount of money over the last decade on shampoos. Back in 2002-2003, I was duped into thinking Nioxin would stop my hair loss since they marketed their products as inhibiting DHT. I used their products for about 1 year.

 

Use organic shampoos without sulfates to clean your hair. Get on Finasteride to inhibit DHT.

I used Finasteride for two years, and two years after quitting I still have Peyronie's Disease and ED. Connection or not, some things are worse than hair loss, and some things are not worth the risk.

Shampoos will have little or no effect on hairloss and regrowth .. there are some studies indicating that Nizoral or Revita can assist but it is marginal if any..

 

Stick to Minoxidil or Propecia
