Dr Feller - 12th nov

I've always had a high forehead, so high that I've always wanted it lowering, hair loss or not. Propecia helped stabilise the receding on the top hairline, even though the sides continue to creep back slowly. Ive recently added rogaine to the regimen and ill see how that works out. I started looking into HT's around a year ago perusing the forums, eventually settling on Dr Feller for the job??¦ I saw Spex for a consultation and got myself pencilled in for the 12th Novemer.

It's been just over 2 weeks since the procedure and I'm very happy! Dr Feller seems to be one of the very few good guys out there. He's someone who genuinely cares about the result of the patient and as we all know he does outstanding work.

The procedure itself took a long time, and I mean long! I arrived at the clinics at 7:45am and it was after 4 by the time I left! Hours on end staring at a head rest *sigh*. I guess this is a good thing it means the job's been done properly, not rushed. It's also a necessary sacrifice we all make for looking good! Ive got to thank Dr fellers team who were very nice, and all did an excellent job.

One thing I must mention is the 400 free grafts I received. How generous is that!! That's $4000 dollars of free grafts! How many doctors would do that hey..

Although it's very early days yet to see the results the hairline looks amazing. The redness is going??¦ slowly. There's still some numbness in my head from the local anaesthetic I don't know if this is normal? Anyone know how long it will take to go, there's still a fair portion of my head with no sensation!

I'll be sending updates as the grafts start to grow and we'll get a better idea of the result- which I'm confident will look amazing! Finally I'll just finish by saying how great I think these forums are. Especially as there's so many money grabbing d**** out there, happy to ruin people's lives in exchange for some cash. It's so important that crappy doctors are exposed and people are directed towards the competent doctors that will ultimately make their lives better not worse.

Spex i think is going to post the before/ after op photos

Thanks for reading! icon_biggrin.gif

Hi DB, you know what is so good about this site... its that you have a choice of great Docs that give consistently good results...and you would never find them if you didnt stumble on or be told about or know about this site. I stumbled on it and thank God i did. Thanks guys..thats to all of you who spend valuable time inputing and advising and posting results for ignorant people like me. i mean I had no idea...A HT sounded so simple and a quick fix...until I read what you guys/gals..mostly guys..lol... had to say.:-) I think the numbness/tightness is normal. Im 8 days after my HT and my head feels tight, and will be for a while I think. or is that numb I dont know. I think its a combination. Anyway DB, sounds like you had a great doc...what more can you do but pick a great doc...:-)

Hey DB,

Again hnow much did you pay for your procedure? You say that you got 400 grafts for free and that is worth $400???

That is $10/graft, a real robbery in my opinion!!

So how much did you pay finally?

$10 per graft? Sure you did not confuse something? As far as I know this is more than Armani charges, this is insane!

Example:

10.000 Dollars for 1000 grafts, + flight, + hotel, this may go up to 12.000 Dollars and you'll end up with 1000 grafts only.

Well that all depends because from what i've been seeing Armani has some unhappy clients regarding his fue and that's to putting it lightly. 10 might be high but if the work is impecable then its worth it.
