Senior Member Dr. James Vogel Posted May 31, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted May 31, 2013 This patient received 2500 grafts to the crown vertex area - Note the reestablishment of the natural whorl pattern. He is a very stable pattern of hair loss/maintenance in the frontal forelock area and has already had hair transplants there as well so an aggressive HT session to the crown area linking this region to the forelock was appropriate in this 45 year old man. Senior Member Shampoo Posted May 31, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted May 31, 2013 Thanks Dr. Vogel. Can you tell me how much time has passed between surgery & the "after" picture? Senior Member Cant decide Posted May 31, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted May 31, 2013 This is a good result. However, this demonstrates what I always say about crown procedures. I think it is better to shrink the crown with higher density than to cover the whole crown with less density. In this case, I think it would have been better to leave a 25 sq cm spot very lightly grafted and plant higher densities around it. Just my opinion. How many sq cm was the area covered?
