Bill - Seemiller
Mrcool, Whether or not a patient wants a hair transplant for religious reasons or not, it's not always in the best interest of the patient to restore a thick, dense hairline. The truth is, hair loss is progressive and donor hair is limited. If there are major risks of excessive future hair loss (which is often true in young men with hairline recession), restoring a thick, dense hairline is a bad idea for long term considerations. Best wishes, Bill
Dr. Glenn Charles
There are always exceptions to the rule. Any doctor should listen to the patient and their reasons for wanting hair restoration. It also depends on where the hairline is being requested. If it is in a reasonable location that will continue to look appropriate with aging than making it much denser might be acceptable. Regular Member MajmX Posted February 15, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted February 15, 2010 There are always those people who do want HT to the front, and are fine using partial wig in the back.
