Regular Member danielx111 Posted May 3, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted May 3, 2013 Well, i'm 19 years old, yes i'm young, I started to lose my hair since I was 14, believe or not but even my gf doesn't know im going bald, I did what ever I could to cover up everything to make it looks like I have tons of hair, everyday I'm waking up 2 hours earlier and taking a shower and put on Toppik till I make everything look good. My parents thinks I go too far with my hair loss, but I feel like I CANT LEAVE without hair on my head so I'm actually worried about the future and thinking about doing HT so here's some questions : 1.I've seen many HT on this forum, some of them were amazing and some are not, what are the chances that I get perfect HT? I have a lot of donor hair, i'll post some photos later on. 2.Since there's not high chances to get destiny of 15 years old kid so I was thinking to do my HT on my hairline only, like for example if needed only 1500 grafts, so idm to do 2500 just on hairline to make sure I have tons of hair there and then cover the rest with hair piece (I don't mind to put hair piece on my head as long as it looks natural and basically the only thing that doesnt make it natural is the hairline so yea..) 3.Whos the best doctor? I was thinking on H&W or Dr.Rahal if you recommend on someone specific I would like to know Sorry for all the questions, if anyone can answer i'll be thankful!! Senior Member Mickey85 Posted May 3, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted May 3, 2013 If you are worried for the future you should slow down and research because if you are losing hair at your age chances are you will lose more hair as you grow older. You don't want to get a hair transplant to fix up the front only to not have enough hair in the donor area to fix up the middle and crown later. 19 is much too young for a procedure in my honest opinion... Yes your right, but I'm planning to do it when I be like 21 maybe 22, and I don't care about the crown because im gonna put hair replacement (Hair piece), so yah I just care about the front and want to know what are the chances to get perfect hairline? Senior Member KO Posted May 3, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted May 3, 2013 I don't think you should consider an HT before age 25. That's the age when people get comfortable with it. I used to be in your situation, what you should do, if you are not doing so already, is start taking finasteride, and maintain the hair that you have. A few years down the line, you can start considering an HT. You also have to keep in mind these are expensive surgeries, and you will be a college student at the time. Get a job then start thinking about this. 3382 FUE Lupanzula http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/185463-3382-grafts-lupanzula.html

Yes, I know it's expensive and I've been working since 15 just to make the money, and I actually have enough money to cover all my head without taking 1 cent off my parents. So basically my question is, if I do HT on my hairline ONLY, what are the chances to get perfect hairlined?
