My SMP in the UK

After years of heartache - n/w 7 since about age 22 and with 3 failed fue transplants I decided to go down the SMP route as this is the look ive always been after anyway - as Im 50 next month this is my gift to myself (via a bank loan) . I had my 2nd session 2 days ago and HIS have not yet posted the pics from that session but it went great , here is the story so far -

Well my diary starts here guys ,

History - Now im 49 yrs 11 months , lost most of my hair by 22yrs of age and like a lot of guys ive hidden away putting off getting a life until I get my head sorted . Hoped could start living @ 40 yrs and had 3 Fue transplants at DHI In Greece ( 1 with chest hair , 2 with scalp hair) all failed . The look ive always wanted is the buzzed/shaved /his look which id choose even if I had thick natural hair .

It has effected my life terribly and as well as depression ive been so close to suicide on a few occassions and ive been in hospital for my own safety !! - makes me a bit miffed when I read about fat folk getting the state to pay for gastric bypasses and girls getting boob jobs on the NHS to make them feel better, when I asked my Doc about getting the HIS treatment on NHS he said there was no way even though I first visited the docs at 19 ! - 31 yrs ago !!

I was obsessed about my hair from the age of 12 when I had loads of it (was a mess though) and would spend hours in front of the mirror getting it to look ok - and then would not leave the house if there was any wind , used to use tins of Cossack hairspray on it !!

Im not daft , before the transplants I tried lotions, potions, being suspended upside down , the lot - even if HIS do a great job on me Im aware I will have mental scars that never go away - but at least maybe I can have a little life .

Im a n/w7 and have always for the last 30 yrs shaved my head without the guard on the top of my head ( about 100 hairs from transplants) and the back/sides I do with my electric shaver same as my chin , to the wood . Im lucky im not scared by my tranplants and as I ve always shaved my new his look will not be to much of a shock .

Ive just booked my Travel Inn for Sunday night as im up at 9am Monday morning at the Birmingham clinic , weird feeling being this close after so long , bit worried as I bled a lot more than most during my transplants .

Becouse of my look ive never allowed photo s to be taken of me ( pic on forum is work ID photo) there are no pics to post as yet , I can get sick if I see photo s of myself so there arnt any . I will ask that HIS mail the before /after pics to Damien so he can post them on this thread for you all to see , as we are all in the same boat im happy for the pics to show my full face and not be blocked out .

Thanks , im waiting for the pics from my 2nd session on Mon 15th to be loaded to the HIS hair forum , onlys pics from session 1 (mon 8th April) on there at moment .

With His SMP 1st session is like a basecoat/ test session and dots are sparse

2nd session is the Magic session when density is added and hopefully 3rd session is just a touch up .

I did post the link to my case in my first post but you seem to have removed it so anybody intrested will have to go onto the His hair website it is on there forum under SMP Diarys and titled My 50th Birthday present to myself .

When ive got to the stage where I can wash/shave my head and it has settled in I will post pics direct onto this site to make it easier .

David,

I see you were able to create an album but may still be having difficulty uploading photos. When you are in your new album, you should see an option to add photos.

If you'd like assistance, feel free to email me at service@hairtransplantnetwork.com and I'll see what I can do to help.
