Regular Member Midwest00 Posted April 5, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted April 5, 2013 (edited) I continue to research St. Louis area hair restoration options. Recently uncovered this. Was just wondering if there were any reviews of the Artas machine. Edited April 5, 2013 by Future_HT_Doc
Senior Member Blake Bloxham Posted April 5, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted April 5, 2013 Midwest, The ARTAS is a very sophisticated, partially-automated FUE device. Several of our Coalition/recommended surgeons use the ARTAS machine, and, in the right hands, it produces solid results. However, keep in mind that the ARTAS, as advanced as it may be, is simply a tool. No matter how great the ARTAS may be, in the hands of a neophyte surgeon (please note that I'm not specifically saying any surgeon you're considering is inexperienced or sub-standard), it can still lead to subpar results. Because of this, I recommend researching the surgeons and the results they produce first, and focusing on the tools they use to achieve these results later.
