Senior Member 1978matt Posted March 30, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted March 30, 2013 Probably 4500-5000 without touching the crown. Depending on age I would forget the crown for now and just focus for now on getting a decent front. 4,312 FUT grafts (7,676 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2013 1,145 FUE grafts (3,152 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2018 763 FUE grafts (2,094 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - January 2020 Proscar 1.25mg every 3rd day

Senior Member 1978matt Posted March 31, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted March 31, 2013 how many grafts do you think i have? do you think ihave enough for the whole head? Impossible to tell by pictures. Depends on the density of follicular Units Whether the FUs contain 1,2,3 or 4 hairs each How stretchy your scalp is The type of hair you have will also have a bearing as to how many grafts are needed to make it look like a full head of hair 4,312 FUT grafts (7,676 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2013 1,145 FUE grafts (3,152 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2018 763 FUE grafts (2,094 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - January 2020 Proscar 1.25mg every 3rd day
Senior Member hairz Posted March 31, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted March 31, 2013 charlesforce609, You can get an idea of how many grafts you need by multiplying length by width (measuring in centimeters) then multiple by number of grafts. For example 72 sq/cm is needed to be covered and the density desired is 50 grafts per sq/cm 72 X 50 = 3,600 grafts needed.
